VFW Post 5594 requests your help to make our 15th Annual Run to Remember 5k an outstanding success. We are proud to offer the only USA Track & Field certified 5k course* available in Upton, MA. Planning is in high gear for this fun and worthwhile event. Participants choose between running a 5k or walking a 1.4-mile (2.25k) course. Kids get their own Fun Run! Our event will honor all Active, Reserve, and Guard members and veterans who served our country in the past. Each participant will wear the name of a veteran they wish to honor. We anticipate 100+ runners and are looking forward to having a first-class event for many years to come! |

The ability to maintain our Post home and community programs is directly related to the generosity of ours sponsors. Our programs include, without limitation, the offering of two scholarships to local high school seniors, and the annual sponsoring of one or two slots at Camp Resilience in Gilford, NH for wounded warriors from the central MA area. Our Post home is available for rent to the community for a variety of events, and we are excited about the opportunity to improve the building and its main hall for the greater good of Upton and surrounding communities. We invite people to consider renting our hall (capacity 85) for personal and business events.
